I am the second longest serving member of the Cohen Law Group team. In law school, I knew that I wanted to use my law degree to benefit the public good. I first worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia. This was in the 1990’s just as cell phones were coming into existence, cable television was exploding, and people were starting to explore the internet. I found these changes to be fascinating, and knew I wanted to work as an attorney in these areas.

I joined the Cohen Law Group in March 2002, and it has been a perfect fit for me. While I work in several of our firm’s practice areas, one of my specialties is conducting franchise fee audits of
cable operators on behalf of our clients. It is a way of keeping cable operators accountable to local governments, and insuring that our clients receive a fair and accurate return for allowing cable providers to use the public rights-of-way.

Before getting my Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, I got my B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania. I live in Pittsburgh in a Victorian house that was built in the late 1800’s. I love playing tennis and doing crossword puzzles in my free time.
